"Up With Jim (McVicker)"

" Up with Jim(McVicker)" I recently had the privilege of being painted painting in my studio by our local Humboldt County Internationally acclaimed Artist Jim McVicker. To share the experience and return the favor I decided to paint Jim as I see him, an artist of integrity, kindness, and genuine humility. This painting was inspired by a selfie Jim took of himself in 2023, up on a ladder, happily enjoying the view, cleaning pine needles off his roof in Loleta, California. As Jim often enjoys painting in Trinidad, I suggested using that as a background and he loved the idea! Painted in my studio in January of 2023.
